As reported earlier, on 1 April 2010, the Act for the Protection of Fair Process entered into force in Hungary which regulates public interest whistleblowing at the workplace.
Since the application of the new legislation raises several questions as regards its application to global ethics hotlines, we decided together with Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) to prepare a guide on the interpretation of its provisions within the context of general data protection legislation in Hungary.
